Support Our Students
“Support Our Students”, (SOS) is an annual campaign sponsored by The Cumberland County Education Foundation and Communities In Schools of Cumberland County, in partnership with Cumberland County Schools. Each August the campaign kicks off with a school supply drive. Donated school supplies are given to needy students across Cumberland County, where more than half the students are economically disadvantaged.” Cash donations are used to supplement student activities throughout the school year! |

Literacy Walk
CCEF partners with Cumberland County Schools to raise the awareness of literacy among children and adults and raise money for classroom literacy efforts. The 1.5-mile walk, which winds past historic downtown Fayetteville sites, begins and ends at Festival Park. Over 10,000 community members participate annually and more than $100,000 is raised for literacy initiatives in Cumberland County schools. |

Excellence In Education
This is an annual winter event hosted by CCEF to celebrate excellence in public education in Cumberland County. The foundation honors both individuals and organizations committed to supporting excellence in our community’s public schools and features an education expert as well as some of our county’s talented students.
